The Day After Thanksgiving

If you are looking for something fun to do with your family on the day after Thanksgving, here is one option. You are welcome to join the Jensen-Ward Family for a trip to the Grand Canyon Caverns. The caverns are about 45 minutes to an hour outside of Kingman. It is a large hole in the ground that is fun to explore. It has an interesting history too. The cost is $14.95 per adult and $9.95 per child and children under the age of 4 are free. Now, if that sounds a bit pricey, it is. However, if 10 of us are going, we are all $9.95. Yes, that's right, you will save $5 by going as a group. The largest the group size can be is 24.

The Grand Canyon Caverns offers tours from 10 AM until 4PM. If you don't want to go, but you would like to send your mature cave exploring child, that would be fine too. I'm sure we can arrange rides for all of the big kids and grown-ups who want to go.

I called the Caverns and they said they are not that busy the day after Thanksgiving, so it won't be a crazy place to go. I can even book a tour time in advance. I don't have to put money down to book a tour, I just need to know how many would be going in our group. I went on the tour 7 or 8 years ago with Mitchell and Grant and we loved it. I hope you will join us on this adventure!

Thanksgiving is Coming!

If you haven't done so yet, mark your calendars for November 27th for a Thanksgiving Feast in Kingman. All family members are invited to this delicious festivity. Come early in the day to play in the mountains. We don't know what time dinner will be at. We are waiting for Jacob to confirm his work schedule. If you live near Jacob, make sure to visit him at work and encourage his boss to let him have Thanksgiving day off. Family pictures will also take place on Thanksgiving day. I hope you have your black, red, and white/cream, attire picked out.

Everyone is welcome to contribute to the Feast. Jana has already volunteered to bring tasty appetizers. Please post what you would like to bring or make. A variety of food is always welcome. Remember, there are like 100 of us coming...okay, not really, but there are mom, dad, toni, haley, michael, joseph, daniel, amy, sarah, jacob, david, julie, craig, brittney, jessica, william, matthew, brent, mitchell, grant, amy, cayden, colby, camber, carlie, kami, joseph, joshua, justin, jana, payten, heidi, bob, madison, robby, stephen, andrew, bearett, natalie, grandma, uncle scott, jennifer, aunt brenda, chad, brandon, and whoever else joins our family by then or feels like coming. In case you lost count, there will be approximately 45 people coming. You are welcome to volunteer for plates, napkins, cups, forks, knives, desserts, rolls, vegetables, potatoes, kid friendly treats, etc. We have lots of good cooks in the family so this will definitely be the meal to remember!

Up and Running!

Okay, we are back in business with a new Robles family blog. I hope everyone missed having a family blog enough to remember to add to this one when appropriate. Here are the rules for the blog:
1. We love each other.
2. We like each other almost all of the time.
3. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it.
4. Have fun blogging. We love to see you SMILE!
